I wish I had a pound for everyone who has asked me that question over the last 20+ years!

Everyone has a story I guess, so here’s a short version of mine.

Originally from the south of England, I emigrated to Australia with my family as a young boy and lived in Sydney for 18 years. I know..........really tough! 

Upon leaving school I joined the ANZ Bank where I developed a passion for good customer service. In fact, the good old-fashioned service skills that were instilled in me by my manager became the foundation for a 25-year career in training, facilitating and coaching. 

After working in branch banking I was headhunted by the National Training Department and my new career was born. 

Upon returning to England I spent the next 13 years working with Tie Rack, Lloyds Register and General Electric (GE) honing my skills to fully develop into a facilitator, trainer, coach and internal consultant.

GE loves to teach people and their development curriculum is second to none. The combined talent at the GE University and the many bright people within different businesses around the globe helped me build my reputation as one of the most highly regarded HR professionals in the entire company, committed about the development of others with a willingness to deliver. 

Park Consulting was then formed in 2000 with a focus on developing pragmatic solutions, speaking everyday language and keeping things refreshingly simple. People have enough complexity in their lives! I now work with companies all over the world helping them with their numerous people initiatives.

Over the last ten years I have had the privilege of working with some of largest and most innovative organisations in the world to some of the smallest whose zest for delivering great products and services has been truly inspirational.

Together with my associates across Europe and North America, I have the ability to work closely with clients to deliver niche solutions while also leveraging my contacts in order to fulfil more complex projects that require alternative delivery options in multiple languages.
